Satis House is a Georgian Grade II listed Country House built in 1769.  Set in 3 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, its elegant setting makes it the perfect venue to escape to for a memorable break.

Satis House has twelve en-suite bedrooms which are decorated in a variety of styles ranging from antique chic to modern contemporary.  Two of our rooms have four poster beds, one which has a balcony overlooking the grounds.

Guest staying at Satis House can enjoy a breakfast cooked to order using high quality local ingredients.

There is ample parking and free wifi throughout the building and in all guest rooms.

Enjoy our outdoor spaces where ample tables and chairs are provided in sunny and shaded areas of our walled garden.

Most guest rooms have been recently refurbished and offer a range of facilities including mini bars, a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, television, tea and coffee making facilities and high end toiletries.

All bed linen is Egyptian cotton with feather duvets and pillows.

The hotel has 11 en-suite bedrooms.  There are 5 deluxe rooms; 5 superior rooms and 2 good rooms.

2 of the deluxe rooms are garden rooms in the grounds.  These are spacious garden pods each with a private decking area and seating.  The rooms are modern and funky with superking beds, nespresso machines and shower rooms.  

The other two downstairs rooms, which are pet friendly, are superior rooms.  One is normally configured as a twin. This room has a walk in shower and roll top bath.  The other has a superking bed.

All other 8 rooms are located in the main house and depending on grade of room are either four poster rooms, superking or large doubles.

Check in is from 4pm to 10pm if checking in after this time we have a key code & check out is 11am.  Early check in times and later check out times can be arranged in agreed in advance for an additional charge. 

Room rates based on 2 adults sharing on a bed and breakfast basis :

Deluxe rooms - £185 per night Fridays & Saturdays & £175 per night Sunday to Thursday

Superior rooms - £175 per night Friday & Saturdays & £160 per night Sunday to Thursday

Good rooms - £160 per night Friday & Saturday nights & £140 per night Sunday to Thursday

Cots and Z beds can be provided in some rooms for an additional charge for children 14 years of age or under.  Rates which include breakfast are £20 per night for a cot (4 years and under) and £40 for a Z bed (14 years and under). Maximum of 2 per room. If you are bringing a child it is essential you check you have been allocated a suitable room at the point of booking.

Twin rooms are available on request.

Well behaved pets are welcome in a small number of our rooms for an additional charge.  It is essential you check with the hotel at the time of booking to ensure you have been allocated a suitable room.  We charge £10 per night for each pet.
